New Canaan is a town of architectural significance — from historic colonials to the modernist masterpieces of the Harvard Five. Its homes are as varied as they are beautiful: centuries-old houses with antique rugs, mid-century moderns with minimalist interiors, and large family homes where everyday life plays out on fine carpets.
Carpet Care NYC has served New Canaan for over 11 years. Our IICRC-certified technicians bring specialist care to both historic and modern homes, using eco-friendly, pet-safe products and methods matched to each rug, carpet, and fabric. Every job is backed by our satisfaction guarantee: if you’re not happy, we re-clean free.
Historic Homes & Antique Rugs
New Canaan’s historic homes often hold rugs and furnishings with real history — antique Oriental rugs, heirloom upholstery, and pieces that have been in families for generations. These items need a conservator’s mindset: assess first, clean gently, and never use a method that could damage fibers or dyes. Our technicians are experienced with antique and delicate pieces and will always advise you before proceeding if a rug needs special handling.Modernist Homes & Minimalist Interiors
New Canaan’s modernist homes — the glass-and-steel houses that made the town famous — have their own cleaning needs. Large open spaces, natural-fiber rugs, and light-colored upholstery that shows every mark. Our cleaning is precise and low-moisture where needed, protecting the clean lines and light fabrics that define these homes. We work carefully around architectural details and art.Family Life in a Quiet Town
Beyond the architecture, New Canaan is a family town — top schools, youth sports, and active households. Family rooms, finished basements, and playrooms see the same wear as anywhere: pet stains, food spills, muddy shoes, and the traffic of kids and dogs. Our pet stain and odor removal, spot treatment, and deep steam cleaning handle the reality of family life while keeping your home’s finer pieces in pristine condition.Services We Offer in New Canaan
